The McDonald College After Hours Program

The McDonald College is proud to run a large and dynamic After Hours program that caters not only for students of the College, but to ALL outside students from all areas of the community who share a love of the performing arts.  Our After Hours program operates on week days and Saturdays.

New students from all areas of the community are always welcome to come and trial any of our classes.  Your first class with us is trial based – whereby if you decide not to continue, we don’t bill you for that class.  Should you wish to continue, you will be billed and normal term fees will apply.

Our programs provide a gradual and simple technical progression through dance, while also giving the ideal preparation for higher levels of training, which may progress into examination, professional dance or teaching.  Teaching a young child the joy of dancing and sustaining this early enchantment with dance throughout their childhood and beyond is our aim.

The McDonald College After Hours Program follows two internationally and Australian recognised syllabi in the teaching of dance to our younger students.  The Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) - An internationally recognised method and syllabus of teaching Classical Ballet and The Australasian Dance Association (ADA) specialise in the teaching of Jazz and Tap in Australia and overseas.
